The day will bring together locals, past and present, friends, families and visitors to celebrate the people and stories that have shaped the pub over the years. Expect live entertainment, food, drinks, friendly competition and plenty of memories as we mark this incredible milestone together.

Get ready for a series of fun, ridiculous and highly competitive country pub challenges! Teams will battle it out across five events, with the Little Olympics giving the kids their own version of the fun.

🍺 Beer Tray Challenge
Navigate a designated course while carrying a loaded beer tray — without dropping the contents!
🩴 Thongs Throwing
How far can you launch a thong? Test your technique and see who can throw it the furthest.
🥤 Straw Race
Move as much liquid as possible using nothing but a straw. Speed, stamina and a steady hand required!
🎯 Bottle Cap Toss
Test your aim and accuracy by landing bottle caps on the target.
🥜 Upsell the Peanuts
1 Minute to Win It You’ve got one minute to unsell as many peanuts as possible.
LITTLE OLYMPICS
The kids get their own age-appropriate version of the Pub Olympics, including an Egg & Spoon Race instead of the Beer Tray Challenge, plus plenty of fun, silly challenges to get everyone involved.
And once the Olympics are over, there’s one final showdown…
HILLS VS FLATS TUG OF WAR
The ultimate battle for bragging rights! Hills vs Flats go head-to-head in a good old-fashioned Tug of War. Pick your side, grab the rope and see who has what it takes to claim victory!
Celebrating 150 Years
Tackle ‘The Ox’ on two wheels.
For motorcyclists, tackling ‘The Ox’ refers to the glorious 163km section of highway between Wauchope and Walcha. The Oxley Highway has long been regarded as one for the most spectacular riding roads in NSW, both for its views and riding enjoyment.
In the two hour run from Wauchope to Walcha, you will enjoy wide open plains and tight mountain turns. The best thing is you can then turn around and do it all over again, in reverse. This is a genuine bucket list ride!
Furry friends are welcome at Long Flat Pub too!
Well behaved doggos can visit any time and we love to welcome horses for short stays in the fenced paddocks.
Please keep dogs on a lead when up at the pub and pick up after them. There are bags and bins provided!
